Beyonce and Jay Z themed restaurant opens in Australia

If you considered yourself Beyonce’s biggest fan because you’re part of the ‘Bey Hive’ and called her Queen Bey, then we’re sorry to burst your bubble: there’s an even bigger fan out there eating in a Beyonce and Jay Z themed restaurant, called The Carters.
According to Time, the restaurant features design details like Beyoncé and Jay Z wall murals in the downstairs lounge and a golden Art-Deco-style lofty bar room, similar to Jay Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan, which has similar high ceilings and gilded contemporary furnishings.

The drinks at this eatery have also been named after other pop culture icons, like the cognac “Obama Out,” the vodka “Kimye,” and the spiced rum “Snoop Lion.”

Beyonce and Jay Z are on the menu as well. The menu boasts a plate titled The Carter Chicken Wings or Beyoncé’s Hot Sauce Wings, a clear tribute to Beyonce’s famous song ‘Formation’ that features the following lyric: “I got hot sauce in my bag, swag.”

“The Carter was inspired by New York’s great architecture, food and controversial entertainment,” manager Chady Khouzame told Australia’s The Music. “Jay Z and Beyonce have always been at the centre of controversy which is what inspired our hidden messages in artwork surrounding the bar and the murals on the wall in the basement.”
