BREAKING: Escaped Murder Suspect Rearrested By The Rivers State Police Command

The Rivers State Police Command in a bid to combat crime and tackle security challenges in the state, has arrested a murder suspect who on the 9th of December 2016, murdered one Dangreen Fulagbo at Saipem water front and went into hiding.

According to the Rivers State Police Command, the suspect, Prince Amadi was arrested on the 21st of August by the Anti-Robbery squad belonging to the Rumuolumeni Divisional Police Station led by SP Kingsley Chukwueggu at Nkpor Village in Rivers state.

Speaking to MIB (MrIfeanyisBlog.Com), the suspect confirmed and confessed to the crime alleging that the murder was done unintentionally.   

According to him, (Prince Amadi), the deceased, Dangreen Fulagbo was killed during a clash with a group of illegal refinery operators.

The suspect said;
On the 9th of December we went to Saipem Waterside, our community waterside to collect our normal money from the illegal bunkering operators, on getting their, we met some person and we were asking them who owns a particular product they were offloading and when we got no reply from them, we began moving some of their product away and immediately two of the illegal bunkering operators them rushed some of my brothers that came with me, meanwhile I was busy making calls.
 After that a fight broke out between my brothers and the bunkering operators and I had to intervene and in the process I was cut with a machete and I immediately retaliated and stab the deceased, Dangreen Fulagbo and later got the news of his death. 
Speaking with the DPO of Rumuolumeni Divisional Police Station, SP kingsley Chukwueggu, said the police has been working effectively in cracking down criminal activities at the Rumuolumeni community and they are ever ready to work with the public towards ensuring peace and stability in the area and Rivers state at large.  
Meanwhile the Rivers State police commissioner, Zaki Ahmed has assured residents of the state that they are working on ensuring that major security challenges in the state will be tackled.
